From 2003 until 2005, she began her career working at pediatric orthopedic surgery practice in Miami, Florida. Following her experience there, she became a non-surgical orthopedist at a multidisciplinary musculoskeletal practice in New York from 2006 until 2014, after which she went into private practice. 

Recognized as an expert in her field, Dr. Hesse is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). To ensure the safe, ethical, and effective practice of orthopedic surgery, the ABOS maintains the highest standards for education, practice, and conduct thorough examination, certification, and maintenance of certification for the benefit of the public.
