Regina Certified Medical Esthetician Training: Careers For Recent Grads Updated

Oct 14, 2023

The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (844-337-6975) has updated its training program for MedSpa workers to make the class more accessible to new students who have recently graduated, and individuals attempting to leave a dead-end job.

In response to a growing number of dissatisfied workers at minimum wage or “dead-end” jobs, the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has updated its Basic training program to make MedSpa certification more accessible to individuals who are currently working another job, or who have recently graduated high school.

More information about MedSpa training, accessible classes, and certifications for running a home business can be found at https://academy.dermysk.com/

Using a new class structure, the Dermysk Academy is now able to train students anywhere in Canada, with as little as one week of in-person classes required. The majority of the training can now be completed online, from anywhere with an internet connection, at each student’s own pace.

Each course begins with lessons about the medical aesthetic industry, the hygiene and safety requirements, and details about the science behind popular treatments. Students will also learn individualized business strategies, how to deal with clients, and what to do in case of complications.

To ensure that every graduate is fully experienced and capable with medical aesthetic tools and procedures, each class still includes one week of hands-on training, at the nearest Dermysk Academy. During this practical training, students will perform actual MedSpa procedures on both simulated and real clients, while closely supervised by a Dermysk training specialist.

At the end of the Basic training program, students will be fully certified and experienced in up to a dozen of the most popular techniques, which may include IPL hair and tattoo removal, derma-planing, fractional ablation, and professional acne treatments. Graduates will be ready to begin working in a MedSpa immediately and will have all the training required to open a home business offering these treatments.

However, graduates can also return at any time for more advanced training in complex techniques. In the Advanced class, which requires either 5 years of MedSpa experience or graduation from the Basic training, students will learn stem cell treatments, laser gynecology, and Body Sculpting.

Students may also choose to enroll in the Master-level course, which combines all of the training from the Basic and Advanced classes, plus exclusive content not found elsewhere. While the Dermysk Academy also offers several courses in injectable cosmetics, such as Botox, these courses are only available to registered nurses and physicians.
